Would you play bingo in a room filled with ciggarette smoke every week?

Blueberryflowers asked:

I went to play bingo one night because I would like to do that, the prizes are between fifty and five hundred in each game, but it was the last time I went because the room was thick with smoke. One girl who won some money that night was a regular and she had a bandana on her bald head because she was having chemotherapy for cancer. There was another man there battling cancer.

    As a smoker I probably would ..Though I do see how you would not want to..
    The rules in the UK now forbid smoking in almost any public place with the exception of the streets ..And it looks as if that will not be allowed for too much longer..

    I would never return. This shows you the mentality of those who smoke. They are so addicted to their cigarettes that they don’t give a jot about their own health or the health of other people. They can’t be bothered to smoke outside or to even abstain from smoking for a few hours. It’s beyond me why anyone in this day and age starts such a habit.

    If you’re miffed over the whole thing, you can contact the someone who handles the bingo game and see if they could ban smoking in the building. But I wouldn’t hope for much. People gotta have their drugs.

    It really would depend on my luck. If I went and won I would probably go again.

    Nope;
    Chemotherapy treatments are about 8,700.00 each and it takes maybe
    40 of them— seems like a lot to pay for a 500.00 jackpot
