It would have been from an application you had used,as soon as you click ‘allow’ the application can then gain access to all of your information and your friends information too because you have permitted it by clicking allow,perfect for the spammers.

As face book gains more gains more and more sponsors they allow advertisements being sent to all account holders. If a advertisement does not meet face books advertising limits you have to allow the advertisements be sent to a specified e-mail.

it’s most likely that you joined a group about bingo – applications don’t send messages on fb, they just use your wall to publish any update on that application

while if you joined a group, you will receive messages coming from the administrator of the group, check it if you have joined any bingo group
