I came to US and started working at age 55, there is no way I can collect 40 points by my retirement age. Will I get any social security benefit when I retire? How much would it be approximately?

You need at least 40 points to collect anything. But one point is income in one quarter of a year, so you just need 10 years working under social security – if you started at age 55, you could have that by age 65.
