If your thighs look great, wear short shorts to the gym or to the pool. But There are guide lines of how people should dress based on their age group. I am 33 and I am in good shape too. I work out regularly and always watch what I eat, but I don’t feel like its appropriate for me to walk around in short shorts anymore. I may be able to get away with it, but I just don’t do it. I wear skirts mid-thigh (shortest) and maybe shorter if I am going to the pool or beach. But that is just how the world works, if you want to look classy, you need to wear age appropriate clothing. You can do that and still look hot!

If you look good, show it off! But many women of a certain age have cellulite or just bad shape in their upper thighs, and should stick to skirts

i`m almost 40, & i look &*%#@ hot!!! i stay in good physical shape & tan year-round, & i`m not afraid to show what i`ve got!!! wear what u want!!! who cares what others think??? i know i look good, so i think it`s perfectly ok to wear miniskirts, short shorts, whatever..i must be doing something right, because husband #2 was 15 years younger than me, & i routinely date guys that are usually in their mid-20s!!! if ya got it, flaunt it!!!
