Nobody would EVER play Blackjack again if they only won 5 dollars on a 10-dollar bet. Buying scratch tickets is the same thing. I've known people that bought entire books (yes, plural) of scratch tickets. They typically got back about 50% of what they paid. So if they bought a book of 50 5-dollar tickets for $250.00, they would get back around 125 bucks - give or take 25. The only way they would ever win is if they hit the very unlikely jackpot ticket. Don't do it! Scratch tickets and lotteries are the worst bets for gambling! Doris
