Those times are pretty good, but I wouldn’t say that they are that great. I know a few people at my small school that can beat those times.

That’s really amazing. A 4.4 40 shows you’ve got greatest burst and acceleration and the sub 5 min. mile shows you’ve got really good endurance. Being completely honest, I’m not a coach or an expert on this matter but I pretty sure that these numbers could def. compare to world class players. Not sure what numbers they have in the mile but your time means your in great shape and can keep it up for an extend amount of time. And the 4.4 is crazy fast. Fernando Torres(Liverpool Striker) can run a 100meters in about 10 seconds, i would believe that would translate to about a 4.3 or 4.4 40yd. time. And I’m sure you know that Torres is often complemented on his great speed. The main thing to remember though is that these are just numbers, not your skills. It’s important to be able to skillfully use your athletic ability in adapt it to your role on the field. And don’t be satisfied, they’re good no doubt, but they can always be better.

4.4 is great but not stand out, but a 4 53 mile is outstanding. But by soccer standards i think it may be the other way around, 4.4 is more impressive. Im sure both of those times are faster than a lot of soccer players.

You can’t run a 4.4 or else you wouldnt have to ask if its good or not. Check out the NFL combine statistics.
